Open Concept Space: Making It Work for the Whole Family
A large, open concept space was the entire reason the house was built. Previously, the client had a more traditional, saltbox colonial with a series of smaller rooms. When dreaming of the new house, they wanted an expansive family-gathering space where they could be together and purposefully use every inch of the room.
This layout implements two generous sectionals, a roomy club chair, and a unique occasional chair to define the seating grouping near the fireplace. The area rug unites all the lounge seating.
The third layout positions a sofa and a sectional for ultimate lounging flexibility near this new fireplace. With a swivel chair near the fireplace, you can pivot between seating grouping and fireplace. A unique occasional chair adds texture and interest. Many flexible ottomans and occasional tables give ultimate flexibility for all the needed functions in this gorgeous space.
