Lakeside Family Room Floor Plan

This space has it all!  Amazing lake view, great natural light, and a spacious footprint make this the favorite room in the house.  The client has been in their home for two decades, and was just ready for a "reboot" for this room.  The furniture never felt like it really fit the space like a glove.  Our talented design team rolled up our sleeves and started working on the first step to solving a new space for a client - the PERFECT FLOOR PLAN!

The new layout offers flexible and ample seating, a larger area rug and lots of surface for books, cups of tea or trays of cocktails after a lake cruise.  

The larger area rug was the key element for uniting all of the new seating elements.  With new swivel chairs near the fireplace, a conversation "circle" is created to allow friends and family to visit with anyone working in the adjacent kitchen.  

Four flexible ottomans can be used for extra seating, or putting your feet up for a movie marathon.  Every seat in the house has a coordinating light and surface, so the whole space invites you to sit and stay awhile.
