Creating the Ultimate Gathering Space

This home has been in the family for decades. Originally the family farmhouse, this kitchen space needed to expand to allow for huge family gatherings. This project started with an angled island, and a big “void” between the sink and cooktop. It was just a few steps too many, to make this kitchen efficient for an accomplished cook and baker. She is always whipping up treats for her big family and our team, so we definitely had to make this space work better for her! She got a bigger island (jealous anyone, or is it just me?), a larger range, efficient vent hood, and tons of prep surface. Now there is room for her gaggle of grandkids on any given day, in her beautiful, new kitchen!
