Vintage Woven Gathering Basket with Wooden Base

A wonderfully charming vintage basket with beautiful craftsmanship and a warm, timeworn finish! This lovely gathering basket features finely woven sides, a sturdy wooden bottom, and two graceful wrapped handles that rise above its generously sized opening.

The rich honey-brown color and tightly woven texture give this basket a classic, collected appearance, while the solid wooden base adds an especially interesting detail. Its gently tapered silhouette and substantial wrapped rim create a beautiful combination of form and function.

We love vintage baskets for bringing warmth, texture, and a little personality to a room. This one would be especially lovely filled with rolled hand towels in a guest bathroom, used to corral knitting supplies beside a favorite chair, or styled with dried botanicals on a console or shelf.

The beautiful natural finish pairs easily with painted cabinetry, antique furniture, and contemporary pieces alike.
