A banquette is my favorite secret weapon for a kitchen remodel. When we can tuck a banquette into a corner of a space, we get to utilize the space that was previously a mere walkway into useful space that can expand the foot print of our client's dining table and seating both.
More surface and more seating equals more room for friends, family and fun, and that is always the goal in our interior design projects. Of course, great aesthetics are integral, too.
Wipeable and durable faux leathers are available in a plethora of colors, patterns and textures. Custom benches have lift-top storage to keep all the bulky things that are difficult to store in other parts of the kitchen. Roasting pans, big slow cookers, holiday serving dishes and seasonal linens easily tuck into these deep storage benches
Pairing this olive green faux leather with architectural windows, white oak furniture and cozy pillows make this the perfect spot for morning coffee, late night snacks and family game nights.
